Over the past few years there’s something that’s come to our attention about millionaire actor Christian Bale and his wife, can you tell what it is?? We’ll give you a clue: it’s staring you in the face….

Christian Bale is stingy. There’s no other explanation for it. Seriously, in recent years Christian and his wife have worn almost exactly the same outfit to every premiere. Unimaginative?? Well maybe, but it’s more than that, just look at the quality of some of those suits. We’ve seen better tailoring on something you’d find hanging on the reduced rail at Primark. We really do shudder to think of what the inside of this couple’s walk-in wardrobe would look like – a montage of black, we suspect.

At yesterday's Spanish premiere of the Dark Knight, in Barcelona, Bale commented on recent events involving the alleged assault of his mother, saying:

“It’s a deeply personal matter, I would ask you to respect my privacy in the matter.”

However, reports have now surfaced that the altercation erupted between the sparing family members after his mother and sister asked the star for £100,000 to help raise their families. Bale is accused of pushing and shoving his sister and mother after declining to hand over the cash they requested.

See, told you he was stingy. And yes, before you say anything, of course that was a joke…

She’s tried her hand at acting, she’s tried her hand at singing and now Jessica Simpson is going to try her hand at designing. Apparently the Dukes of Hazzard star is set to launch a collection of summer dresses…

Well, when we say she’s tried her hand at designing, what we mean is: a team of professionals created a range of clothing and Jessica has decided to lend her name to it, because she REALLY likes to endorse products. Jess has already successfully fronted ranges for cosmetics, hair extensions and swimwear lines. Speaking about the upcoming frock collection (to be released in spring/summer 2009), Jess said:

"I'm extremely excited to be expanding into the dress market. I plan on creating beautiful dresses in distinctive fabrics and silhouettes that are reflective of my personal style and offer something special to the marketplace."

Let’s hope she has slightly more success designing than she’s had in both her acting and singing careers. Though that shouldn’t be too hard…

To being really rather fond of each other. In an interview Chanelle told:

“I love Chantelle, she’s so, so nice. People are really mean about her for no reason. She knows exactly what it’s like because she was in a relationship and then she got screwed over by Preston, and I got screwed over by Ziggy .”

It’s been a while since we spotted Justin Timberlake and his girlfriend Jessica Biel making a public appearance together, so it was nice to see the ordinarily camera shy couple venture out of house for a meal with friends at Beso restaurant in LA last night. Since meeting in the jungle way back in 2004 Katie and Peter have had to deal with a ton of criticism, are they really in love? Is it all just a publicity stunt? We could go on. Well four years have passed since then and even the harshest critics would have to admit their relationship has stood the test of time. Until now that is.....

Last night we caught up with Peter Andre heading to Nobu for a meal and Katie was nowhere to be seen and just last week we spotted Katie out in London not once but twice without her wedding ring and no husband in sight.
